Calendula is one of the most respected plants in skin care, with a complex of soothing, antioxidant and anti-microbial properties. Calendula, along with Carrot, also contain high levels of alpha and beta carotenoids, which naturally renew and soothe irritated skin. Carotenoids, in particular, contribute to the production of melanin in the skin, which is a critical part of skin regeneration process. Our plants have been extracted into a high-quality mixture of cold-pressed oils containing almond, argan, jojoba, and sunflower seed oil. The oil is suitable for all skin types, and may be used on both face and body. It may also be safely used around sensitive, mucous membrane areas.
